Motion Design Leadership

Building and leading motion teams at leading agencies

Goal

To lead effective motion design and digital production teams across high-profile agencies and publishers, transitioning to emerging technologies while maintaining quality output for major clients.

Solution

I implemented a strategy focusing on team building, technology adoption, and process optimization across my roles at Grey Group Global, mcgarrybowen, Atmosphere Proximity BBDO and The New York Times.

Process

My process centered on team building, technology transition, and skill diversification. I managed digital studios, led transitions from Flash to HTML5, and expanded my capabilities to include technical leadership and production management. My client-centric approach involved collaboration with various departments to ensure high-quality deliverables. Innovation was key, as seen in my development of VR practices at Grey Global, and optimization of video capture and distribution methods for The New York Times Events team.

Outcome

I successfully delivered projects for major clients across industries, advanced technological capabilities of agencies, and reduced costs in video distribution. I built effective teams, demonstrated versatility across different company environments, and consistently pushed for adoption of new technologies. This approach kept companies competitive in the evolving digital landscape and positioned me as a leader in motion design and digital production.
